Bella Sloan Cude is a Los Angeles-based artist. Bella makes movies, writes scripts, takes photographs, and designs directors' treatments. Bella is going to go rogue and take this bio first person.

My first and most notable achievement in the field of filmmaking occurred at age eight, when I managed to wrangle my classmates out to the soccer field at recess for the shooting of an epic, The Lord of the Rings-style battle scene. Forever chasing this high, I continued my career at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where I graduated with a BFA in Film and Television Production.

My work typically navigates social alienation, womanhood, tasteful nihilism, or some combination of the three, and has appeared in festivals like the Catalina Film Festival and the Berlin Indie Film Festival. My most recent completed short, Absit, was distributed on Aspire TV's Urban Indie Film Block, available on Prime Video and Apple TV+, and in over 30 million homes across the U.S. via Comcast, DirectTV, and Verizon.
