Bella Sloan Cude is a Los Angeles-based artist. Bella makes movies, writes scripts, takes photographs, and designs directors' treatments. Bella is going to go rogue and take this bio first person. 

My first and most notable achievement in the field of filmmaking occurred at age eight, when I managed to wrangle my classmates out to the soccer field at recess for the shooting of an epic, The Lord of the Rings-style battle scene. Forever chasing this high, I continued my career at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where I graduated with a BFA in Film and Television Production. 

As an artist, I’m interested in failure. My work often explores themes of miscommunication and disillusionment, and has appeared in festivals like Catalina Film Festival, Berlin Indie Film Festival, and OUTSOUTH Queer Film Festival. My 2022 short film, Absit, was distributed on Aspire TV's Urban Indie Film Block, available on Prime Video and Apple TV+.
